The Association for Washington Archaeology (AWA) established a Crisis Relief Fund to provide financial assistance to recently-unemployed Archaeological Technicians and unemployed recent graduates of Archaeology and Archaeology-Related Graduate Programs who meet all application criteria. Originally started to assist archaeologists working in and around Washington State who found themselves unemployed due to the COVID-19 global pandemic, this fund has expanded and continued to support those in need. Apply
In order to be considered for funding, you must meet the stated criteria in the short application. Only applications meeting the required criteria will be considered by the AWA Crisis Relief Fund Committee. Financial assistance to those meeting the criteria will be made on a first-come, first-served basis until the relief fund is exhausted.
